How the oopbuy shipping model works
Oopbuy is a consolidation service. Sellers send items to oopbuy’s Chinese warehouse; you approve QC; then you build a “parcel” — one box, multiple items — and pick a oopbuy shipping line to your country. The final invoice is chargeable weight × line rate, minus any active oopbuy shipping coupon.
Chargeable weight is the twist
Chargeable weight = the higher of actual weight or volumetric weight. Volumetric is computed as (L × W × H in cm) ÷ 6000 for most air lines. A 2 kg puffer jacket that measures 40×30×20 cm invoices as 4 kg — you pay double unless the parcel is vacuum-packed. See oopbuy shipping packing tips.
